Hershberger's

My family LOVES Hershberger's! It's one of our favorite spots in Amish Country and we stop there every time we go! Recently, we took our cousins and they bought the most adorable puppy! The kids loved taking rides on the horses and my aunt said that the kettle corn was the best she has ever had!

A great place to take children.
by: Anonymous

I recommend anyone with children to visit this place. Its like a petting zoo, but with farm animals. You can buy pet food for a minimal fee and feed the animals, along with the goats that eat their food from the roof of the barn.

They have amazing food, and of course everything was homemade. I ate the best cheeseburger and fries along with sampling my fiancé's mushroom and Swiss burger that was also amazing.

Looking for a Hershberger family
by: Mari Rosato

Hi I was an exchange student to the USA in 1976 we travelled by bus through OHIO in July or August 1976 on route to Washington DC where we were to board our planes to go back to our Countries (I came from Venezuela). We stopped in OHIO but unfortunately I do not remember the name of the town and I was the lucky person to stay with an Amish family for a couple of days. I stayed the the Hershberger family, they had a large family and one of the daughter's name was Helen, I would love to be able to find some of them. Help!!

Hershberger's is not a Restaurant
by: Anonymous

I am not sure what one of the previous posts was talking about. The Hershberger's Truck Patch Farm and Bakery is not a restaurant it is a bakery and petting farm that sells animals etc. It is a great place to stop and no one is made to buy puppies. If they buy them and want to make a review on how adorable their puppy is, then more power to them.

Hershberger, Stockport, OHIO
by: Anonymous

I am looking for a Hershberger farm in the Stockport, Ohio area where my friend purchased a canned jar of jam at the gift shop in Chesterhill with Hershberger's name on it. I would love to get more products from them as I live in Zanesville.

Who's writing these reviews???
by: Irina S

I am planning a trip to the Amish Country and am doing some research on restaurants, etc. In doing this, I have noticed an interesting pattern with at least 3 "Hershberger's" reviews: everyone who goes there to eat, seems to end up buying "an adorable puppy." It seems like every writer of the reviews is also more interested in describing their wonderful experience of buying a puppy than describing their restaurant experience. This leads me to question who is writing these reviews, for most valid review writers focus on the topic at hand, as apposed to promoting a probable puppy mill. Warning: Take reviews with a grain (or two) of salt!

Hershberger's

Yes, this place is just awesome!!!! I remember it when it had just started and Mrs. Hershberger got up early to make pies in her house just across the road - now it has expanded and has it's own bakery on the premises and so much more!!!!! Just everything and a great place to visit and enjoy your day in Amish Country!!!!
