Experience Nauvoo Road Tour

middlefield-business-signs

Through the heart of Middlefield, Ohio Amish Country runs Nauvoo Road.

Take SR 87 west out of Mesopotamia to Bundysburg Road. Turn right and go a few miles north to the eastern-most end of Nauvoo.

As you travel west to its other end at SR 608 you'll come across a great cross section of the area's Amish Country attractions and shops.

Your choices will range from antiques to Amish-made furniture, from a flea market to a bakery, from quilts to cheese and even a salvage grocery store and a bulk food store.

The trip itself is rather short in distance, but guaranteed it will take most of an entire day if you stop at all the different places.

If you plan your trip on a day that the Middlefield Flea Market is open (Saturdays from 9-3 and Mondays from 8-3) you can grab lunch at the café located inside the main building.

If you're still at it by evening there's always an Amish restaurant a little ways south on SR 608 you may want to hit before calling it a day.
