These Amish Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies are not just your ordinary run-of-the-mill cookies. They combine two of our most favorite cookie tastes - savory peanut butter and mouth watering chocolate chip - for a great-tasting flavor that can't be easily beat. These cookies quite easily passed our family's rigid taste-test regimen and - they didn't last very long. Try this simple but great tasting recipe out on your sweet tooth, it's sure to please! They're so good that we dare say you can't eat just one! Try them fresh from the oven while they're still warm - or dunk them in milk and enjoy! Be sure not to over bake them so that they'll be delectably soft and delightfully chewy. In our "humble" opinion, they beat the cheap, old, dry, store-bought cookies by a country mile!
Ingredients: 1 c. butter Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Mix in eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350°. Here's a freebie tip as a side note: Drop balls of cookie dough onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Do not flatten them out like you would traditional peanut butter cookies. If the cookies are spreading out too much while baking, instead of adding any extra flour, try refrigerating the cookie dough for awhile before using. ![]()
