Amish Pecan Toffee Snacks
Amish Pecan Toffee Snacks taste great just about anytime and would certainly go well with a cup of coffee or mug of hot chocolate.
Are you looking for a quick snack for the kids? Want something to pack for lunches? Having guests over or maybe even hosting a party? Well then, here's an answer for you.
These tasty little snack crackers are very simple to make. If you need something that is quick and easy, but yet needs to look impressive - then you'll need to give this recipe a try.
This snack consists of only four simple ingredients - but be warned, the results will disappear as quickly as you make it! Try them and see if it works the same for you.
Ingredients:
Club crackers
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
Line a large cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Place the desired number of Club crackers on the pan. Sprinkle chopped pecans over crackers. Boil butter and sugar for 3 minutes. Pour sauce over crackers and then bake for 10 minutes.
Serve while still warm or let cool.
Recipe given by Mrs. Ferman Miller.
If you want to add a little extra flavor, try including a dash of vanilla. Want to switch it up even more - then substitute almonds, walnuts or peanuts in place of the pecans.
You can also use the cracker of your choice. But, better yet, why not try shaving some chocolate on top or even using chocolate chips! It doesn't get much better.
