The Inn at the Amish Door - Wilmot

Stark County Ohio, it's home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Hartville MarketPlace, the Amish Door Restaurant, Inn and Village and so much more. It also boasts itself as a gateway to Ohio Amish Country.

Amish Country

The southwestern corridor - with towns like Navarre, Brewster, Beach City and Wilmot - winds its way into Holmes County and the Heart of Amish Country.

The town of Wilmot is Stark County Ohio's Gateway to Amish Country. Located in the extreme southwest of the county, the area's beautiful hills and rolling farm country borders Wayne, Holmes and Tuscarawas Counties.

Hartville

In the north of the county, you'll find the Historic Village of Hartville in Lake Township (home of Quail Hollow State Park).

Walk the streets of the Historic Downtown Hartville and see where President McKinley used to disembark for meetings - at the over 120-year-old railroad depot now preserved as The Maple Street Gallery.

Erie Canal

In the northwest, Canal Fulton offers the history and nostalgia of the old Ohio and Erie Canal. Ride a horse drawn canal boat or visit the Canal Days Museum.

Visit the historic downtown district with quaint shops and unique dining. And don't miss the annual Yankee Peddler Festival!

Like to drive history? Follow U.S. Route 30, the Lincoln Highway, as it stretches mid-county from east to west. Hit East Canton, the area originally settled by many Pennsylvania Dutch, if you want to play a round of golf. But be sure to stop at the Canton Classic Car Museum on your way.

Canton Area

While in Canton you'll want to experience the First Ladies National Historic Site, the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum, and especially the McKinley Monument. Of course, if you're a football fan, you won’t want to miss the Pro Football Hall of Fame Museum and the Hall of Fame Festival.
