It was my first time visiting Middlefield, Ohio as well as the Amish community on a one-day trip to meet the Hershberger Family. I hope my photo captures and communicates the beauty and the respect I feel for the value system of the Amish people and their unique culture. I never tire of seeing this photo and remembering this day which made me feel as if I had visited a different world but have come back a better, more worldly person, with a deeper understanding of life. Certainly I will return in the future after the gift of this unexpected and gracious experience.

One of my favorite shots, “Amish Country Farmland With The White Horse” who showed up just in time for this shot!
This is my most favorite photo taken during this trip. I am calling it "The White Horse" because the horse came into the picture in the corral at just the right moment to make this scene JUST PERFECT!

This is one of my favorite shots, “Anticipation” and the feeling of excitement waiting to see what would come from the other side of the hill.
