Oak Haven Bed and Breakfast

This has to be one of the best bargains in the area. Right outside Sugarcreek, it's a restored 1800's farmhouse. There are three guest rooms with baths. Gorgeous views. Hearty breakfasts - much of the breakfast is home-grown. Rooms cost from $69-$89. No hidden charges--the cost advertised is the entire cost. The hosts have a great appreciation for the Amish with many wonderful stories to share.

Our visit in August 2012
by: Debbie Van Nest

My fiance and I spent two nights here in August 2012 and I was sad to leave. Being my first experience with a B & B and selecting this off of the internet, I wasn't sure what to expect. This is a very peaceful place to stay and the hosts are exceptional. They are very down to earth and were willing to answer every question about the Amish that we could ask. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Both days our breakfasts were different and delicious! I would certainly go back and I would recommend this B & B to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Sugarcreek.

We found this Inn (Oak Haven Bed & Breakfast) on the internet while traveling through Ohio and were pleasantly surprised during our one night stay. It is a very charming place and we would definitely go back! But what really makes it exceptional are the hosts Clay and Joyanne Ham. Both were very enthusiastic hosts and answered many questions about the Amish. Clay is an "Amish hauler" and invited us to go with him to transport an Amish family. We saw many back roads and typical Amish living instead of the usual tourist things. What a treat! Then there was a fabulous breakfast. Need I say more?

What a lovely place to stay! It is roomy, clean, quite and charming. Breakfast is wonderful and the Hams are delightful innkeepers. You won't be disappointed.
